Fall Prevention Screens

Let the air in. Keep children safe. Crimsafe complies with the National Construction Code.

Open your windows fully

NCC-compliant protection that doesn’t compromise airflow

Maximise airflow by having Crimsafe instead of window restrictors that only allow you to open valuable airflow sources by 125mm.

Rather than having your windows open just 12cm to allow in a small amount of fresh air, while still keeping your children safe at home, you can use our stylish fall protection screens and open your windows as wide as you like.

The big advantage of our fall prevention screens is that they comply with the National Construction Code for the Protection of Openable Windows. This is particularly important in Queensland homes where open windows are essential for comfort through much of the year.

Crimsafe provides numerous products to protect openable windows. It exceeds the security standard outlined by NATA with a 250N force requirement tested and certified.

NCC compliance note

The National Construction Code requires that openable windows above 2 metres from the ground be fitted with screens that prevent children from falling through. Crimsafe fall prevention screens meet this requirement while allowing full window opening for ventilation. If your home or rental property requires NCC-compliant screens, ask Securelux for documentation on installation.
