Our Credentials

Queensland Building and Construction Commission

QBCC Licence No. 1187294

The QBCC licence is a legal requirement for anyone performing building work in Queensland, including security screen installation. Holding an active licence means Securelux has been assessed against the commission's financial, technical, and management requirements.

You can verify our licence directly on the QBCC public register using licence number 1187294. We encourage customers to do exactly that before engaging any security installer.

Product authorisation

Crimsafe Authorised Licensee

Crimsafe does not sell to just anyone. To become an Authorised Licensee, a company must be trained and vetted by Crimsafe directly. Only authorised licensees can supply and install genuine Crimsafe products.

Many companies claim to install security screens. Only authorised licensees can claim to install Crimsafe. The distinction matters: it is the difference between a genuine product with manufacturer support and a screen that may look similar but offers no such assurance.

Securelux has held authorised licensee status for decades. It is not a marketing claim; it is a condition of supply.

Industry body

NSSA Member

The National Security Screen Association (NSSA) is the peak industry body for Australia's security screen sector. Membership requires commitment to minimum standards for products, installations, and business conduct.

NSSA membership signals that a company takes the industry seriously and subjects itself to oversight beyond what is legally required. It is voluntary; most security screen installers are not members.
