Budget and Value Security Screens

Entry-level protection does not have to mean no protection. Securelux supplies and installs fly screens, AS 5203-compliant barrier screens, and custom solutions for every budget across south-east Queensland.

Fly screens

Affordable insect protection for Queensland homes

Installing fly screens is an affordable and efficient way to prevent insects from entering your home while ensuring proper air circulation. Securelux supplies and installs fly screens across south-east Queensland in several mesh and frame options to suit the opening and the household.

Standard fly screens

Fibreglass mesh in aluminium frames. The most affordable option for insect prevention and airflow, suited to low-traffic windows and secondary openings.

Pet-resistant fly screens

Heavier-gauge mesh that resists clawing and pressure from dogs and cats, without blocking ventilation. Recommended wherever animals have access to screened openings.

High-visibility fly screens

Fine mesh that improves outward visibility while still excluding insects. Popular in living areas with garden or water views where clarity matters.

Security mesh options

Step-up stainless steel or aluminium mesh that adds a basic security layer alongside insect protection. A practical choice for a screened opening that sees light foot traffic.

Indoor-outdoor living

Enjoy your patio without the insects

Queensland’s climate invites outdoor living, and a properly screened patio makes that possible year-round. Securelux installs fly-screen enclosures from floor to ceiling on patios, pergolas and alfresco areas across south-east Queensland.

Enclosures use heavier-gauge mesh that resists wind pressure and the incidental contact that comes from furniture and foot traffic. Frame colours are matched to the home’s existing palette.

Barrier screens

SureMesh: AS 5203-2016 certified security at a value price

SureMesh barrier screens are compliant with AS 5203-2016, the Australian Standard for security screen doors and window grilles. Certification to this standard means the screen has met tested requirements for corrosion, impact, knife shear, and jemmy resistance.

They provide a meaningful and certified level of security at a lower price point than Crimsafe, making them a practical choice for renters, investment properties, and budget-conscious homeowners who need certified protection without the premium price of the Crimsafe range.

SureMesh screens are available for hinged and sliding door applications and fixed windows. Supplied and installed by Securelux with the same measurement process and workmanship standard applied across our full product range.

Custom security screens

Tailored solutions for unusual openings

At Securelux, we recognise that each home and security requirement is distinct. If you have a non-standard opening size, an unusual frame type, an arched window, or a specific aesthetic requirement, our team can design and manufacture a screen to suit. Custom screens are produced at our Redland Bay factory and installed by our own employed team.

Tailored to your opening

Non-standard sizes, unusual frame types, arched openings, or specific colour requirements. Our factory produces the screen to your measurements rather than forcing a standard size to fit.

Budget-conscious approach

We recognise how important it is to find the right security solution without straining your finances. Bring your brief and we will work out what is achievable within your budget.

Endless mesh and material options

Fibreglass, aluminium mesh, woven stainless steel, or a step up to Crimsafe mesh. The same frame and clamping infrastructure can accept different mesh grades.

Expert guidance from our consultants

Our consultants walk you through the trade-offs between mesh grade, security rating, aesthetics, and price. You finish the consultation with a clear picture before you commit.
