Made in Our Redland Bay Factory
Every Securelux screen is manufactured in-house, built to our own standards through a 6-stage production process.
In-house manufacturing
We build what we install
Most installers are resellers. They order pre-built screens from a supplier and fit what arrives. If something is wrong, the problem goes back to the supplier.
Securelux manufactures in our own factory at Redland Bay. Our installers are the same team that sees the product built. When something needs to be made to an unusual size or a non-standard opening, we do it ourselves.
Our screens are built to our own standards. The 8-point measurement taken at your home travels directly into production. The frame is cut to your opening, not to the nearest standard size.

How your screen is built
The 6-stage production process
- 01

Cutting
Frame extrusions are cut to the exact dimensions captured in the 8-point measurement of your opening. Tolerances are tight. Every cut is made to the measured job, not a standard size.
- 02

Framing
Cut sections are assembled into the door or window frame. Corners are squared and checked before the frame progresses. A frame that is out of square will not sit correctly in the opening.
- 03

Mesh cutting
Crimsafe Tensile-Tuff stainless steel mesh is cut to the frame dimensions. The mesh is the certified security layer. Cutting is done to the frame, not the other way around.
- 04

Assembly and screw clamping
The mesh is seated into the frame channel and the clamp bar is screwed down. Every screw is treated with Tef-Gel before installation. This marine-grade compound prevents galvanic corrosion between the stainless screws and the aluminium frame.
- 05

Lock installation
The Austral Parrot Beak triple-point lock is fitted. This is an Australian-made lock chosen for its pry resistance. The three-point engagement means the door holds at the top, centre, and bottom of the frame simultaneously.
- 06

Final QC inspection
Each completed screen is inspected before it leaves the factory. Mesh tension, clamp integrity, lock function, and hardware fitment are all checked against our build standards. If it does not pass, it does not ship.

From factory to your home
The same team, end to end
The installers who fit your screens are employed by the same business that built them. They know what the product is supposed to look like completed. They are not receiving an anonymous pallet from a supplier.
This connection between factory and installation is part of why the 12-month workmanship warranty means something. We are accountable for both.
