Professional Installation

What sets our installation apart

Seven points that matter on installation day

  1. 01

    Employed installers with regular training

Every person who installs a Securelux screen is on our payroll. They receive regular training and are subject to supervision. This is not a contractual arrangement where we have no visibility of who turns up at your home.

  2. 02

    Austral locks: Australian-made, not imported

We specify Austral locks on every installation. Austral is an Australian manufacturer. The locks are not sourced from overseas suppliers where quality control varies.

  3. 03

Heavy-duty interlocks: 25.4mm deep vs 13mm industry standard

Our hinged door interlocks run 25.4mm deep. The industry standard is 13mm. This is not a minor difference. Deeper interlocks resist forced entry more effectively because there is more frame engagement.

  4. 04

Top and bottom rollers on sliding doors

Budget sliding installations use top and bottom guides. We use rollers. Rollers distribute the door weight correctly, reduce wear, and contribute to a tighter seal at the perimeter.

  5. 05

    Pocket-fit windows where possible

Where the window rebate allows, we fit screens pocket-fit into the opening rather than face-fixed. Pocket fitting removes the exposed frame lip and improves both the appearance and the security of the seal.

  6. 06

    Post-installation vacuum clean

We vacuum the work area after each installation. Drilling and cutting generates swarf and dust. Leaving it is not part of our process.

  7. 07

Comparison advice on what you were quoted elsewhere

If you have received another quote and want to understand what you are actually comparing, ask us. We will tell you what the differences are in plain terms.

12-month workmanship warranty

We stand behind the work

Every Securelux installation carries a 12-month workmanship warranty. If something is not right with the way the screen was fitted, we fix it. This is separate from the product warranty that Crimsafe provides on the materials themselves.
