Crimsafe First is the entry point to the Crimsafe product range. It uses the same 0.9mm, 304-grade Tensile-Tuff stainless steel mesh and proprietary Screw-Clamp technology as every other tier - there is no compromise on the core materials.
Where Crimsafe First differs from the higher tiers is in its impact rating and warranty period. First is tested to AS 5039, the current Australian Standard. For homeowners who want genuine Crimsafe quality and AS 5039 compliance without the additional cost of higher-tier impact testing, Crimsafe First is the right starting point.

Crimsafe First uses the same 0.9mm, 304-grade Tensile-Tuff stainless steel mesh as every other Crimsafe product. The mesh is heavier and has up to 26% more material than competitor 0.8mm products.
Screw-Clamp technology
Crimsafe First uses the same exclusive Screw-Clamp fastening as the rest of the range. It bites down on the mesh in a vice-like grip, strongly resisting being pulled out of the frame under impact.
Tested to Australian Standard
Tested to AS 5039, the current Australian Standard for security screen doors and window grilles. Suitable for homes where code compliance is the primary requirement.
